Annie's second litter was born in late 2000: four dog puppies sired by artificial insemination from the top winner and sire in Finland, Int. Ch. Bohem Flight Time. The three shown are all champions: Select Ch. Bohem First Flight (Charles W. Carroll), Ch. Bohem Just In Time (Nancy Doucette) and Int. Ch. Bohem Time Flies (Rita Vanhaeren, Belgium), who has won SBIS in Europe and took the FCI World Winner title in 2006. A couple of weeks after Annie, her litter sister Ch. Bohem Age of Innocence (owned by Curtis and Patricia Singer, Diva Whippets) whelped 7 puppies to SBIS Ch. Chelsea Gold Rush of Keynote, with Bohem as co-breeder. This is a parallel to the breeding of Annie to Rush which produced such excellent results. Again, several of the puppies won well, with Ch. Diva's Rigoletto of Bohem, Ch. Bohem Viva la Diva and SBIS Ch. Diva's Bohem Elisir d'Amore gaining their championships. Annie had her third and final litter in 2002, sired by Int. & Braz. Ch. Chelsea Long Kiss Goodnight. Of these, five become champions: Multiple SBIS Ch. Bohem Belle du Jour, BIS & SBIS Ch. Bohem C'est la Vie, Ch. Bohem Ooh-La-La, and their brother Ch. Bohem Rendezvous, who finished with a Group 1st from the classes. Bohem C'est Si Bon finished her ASFA Field Championship in 2005. The two litter sisters Ch. Bohem Resounding Renaissance and Dual Ch. Bohem Romanesque each whelped a litter that was co-bred by Bohem: the former was bred to Ch. Chelsea Made You Look of Sage and produced three champion males, all carrying both the Bohem and the Resounding prefixes. The latter, "Tootsie," had her litter at Bohem, co-bred by Kim Otero and sired by Ch. Poppy Hill's Cast No Shadow. Among the puppies were Ch. Bohem Golden Delicious, who has won numerous BOB's and Group 2nd, and Ch. Bohem Garden Delight, who went to Sweden and finished with two Group placements. He is owned by Ingela Kyrklund of Colt's Whippets, who got her first Whippet from Bohem in Sweden in 1970! In August 2004, Ch. Bohem C'est la Vie
produced a litter of only two puppies, both dogs, sired by Ch.
Sporting Fields Jazz Fest: one of them, Ch. Bohem Bon Vivant,
finished as a yearling and ranked among the top Whippets for
much of 2006. He also received a Select Award at the AWC Western
specialty before he was 2 years old. His brother, Bohem Bonhomme,
is also well on the way to his title at just over two years of
age. Click here for updates. |
