Bohem has not bred or co-bred any litters for some time, and we are not planning any puppies, but we are always happy to forward inquiries about puppies to other breeders, if possible with Bohem breeding.
Bohem does not stand stud dogs, but several dogs of Bohem breeding in different parts of the U.S. and abroad may be available for suitable bitches. In order of age, they are:
Ch. Bohem Circus Runaway, ROM (“Blaze”), born in 1998 but still hale and hearty. Blaze is a Specialty BIS winner, AWC Top 20 and Register of Merit sire with numerous champions, field winners and top producers to his credit, including a Canadian National SBIS winner. Ch. Bohem Just In Time (“Justin”) and his brother Int. & WW Ch. Bohem Time Flies (“Timmy”) were born in late 2000 and between them are responsible for some very nice champions and winners in the U.S., Europe and Russia. Ch. Bohem Resounding Highjinks (“Tucker”) had never bred a bitch until last year, when at 6 years of age and on his own initiative he bred his owner Cindi Gredys’ Ch. Bohem Some Like It Hot. We hadn’t planned this breeding until later but couldn’t be happier with the puppies— see Updates. Contact Cindi for further inquiries.
Ch. Bohem Garden Delight (“Eddie”) lives in Sweden with Ingela Kyrklund (Colt’s Whippets). He is not heavily shown but has done some good winning in Breed and Group competition, and the puppies from his only two litters have also done well both in the show ring and lure coursing. Ch. Maverick Griffin of Bohem (SBIS Ch. Bohem Three Ring Circus x Merci Isle Maverick Bandana JC), a dual Specialty BIS winner at two years of age and the sire of his first promising litters, may be available at stud in California through Michael Strockbine or Bohem.
Ch. Song Sung Blue Golddust (Ch. Bohem Time Flies x Starline’s Limited Edition) was bred in Belgium and lives in Russia. “Dandy” visited the U.S. for a few weeks in 2009 and quickly added an AKC title to his Russian championship. He is owned by Marina Slepneva in St. Petersburg but was co-owned and shown to his final points by Bohem. Frozen semen is available in the U.S. For inquiries, contact Marina Slepneva or Bohem.
Ch. Counterpoint Painted by Bohem (Ch. Bohem Bon Vivant x Can. Ch. Counterpoint Winning Colors), who finished at 12 months of age with specialty wins in late 2009, will stand at stud when mature and health tested.
